Using Exchange on your iPhone

With the release of the iPhone 3g and version 2.0 software, the iPhone has the capability to access your mail, contacts and calendar stored on your organization’s Exchange server. This article outlines the steps required to get access to your mailbox from your iPhone.

Checklist

Exchange Server version is 2003 with service pack 2 or Exchange 2007
A valid digital certificate is installed on the Exchange environment
iPhone is running version 2.0 or later firmware

Preparing the Exchange Server Environment

How to stream webcam - broadcast your webcam live

Publish a live / streaming webcam

A customer wrote to ask me how to set up a streaming webcam to watch over their puppy whilst at work. I didn’t know how to do it, so I did a bit of research and the result is this little article.

I also thought “awwww, puppies!”

Kinobo was also thinking about broadcasting a live feed of the view from the Kinobo HQ boardroom. We are overlooked by Edinburgh castle, which often looks pretty darn lovely at certain times of the year. At the moment though, it’s grey and miserable.
